Refund & Cancellation Policy

When fees are refundable, how much comes back at each stage, and exactly how to ask — written so you can check it against your own dates.

This is a design replica. The text below is illustrative copy written to demonstrate how a policy page reads and behaves. It is not a legal document, it creates no obligations, and it must not be relied upon or reused as enforceable terms. For the real policies, go to the official iAdmit website.

Applies to: this website and its counselling services

Sections: 8

1. The principle behind this policy

A seat you take is a seat someone else cannot have, and an institute commits faculty and cohort capacity the moment a batch is confirmed. The refund schedule below reflects that cost, which is why it tightens as the start date approaches rather than being an arbitrary penalty.

2. Application fee

The application fee covers processing, document verification and the institute's evaluation. It is non-refundable once an application has been submitted for evaluation, whether or not the application succeeds.

The single exception: if the institute cancels the intake before evaluating your application, the application fee is refunded in full.

3. Programme fee refund schedule

Refunds are calculated on the programme fee actually received, excluding GST already remitted to the government and excluding the application fee.

  • Cancellation more than fifteen days before the programme start date — 90% of the programme fee refunded.
  • Cancellation between fifteen days and the start date — 70% refunded.
  • Cancellation within fifteen days after the start date, with no more than two sessions attended — 50% refunded.
  • After fifteen days from the start date, or after attending more than two sessions — no refund.
Where a partner institute publishes its own refund schedule for a programme, the institute's schedule prevails and is set out in your admission letter.

4. If we cancel or defer the cohort

If a cohort is cancelled, or deferred by more than sixty days, you may transfer to the next available cohort at no additional cost, transfer to a different programme with the fee difference adjusted, or take a full refund of everything paid including the application fee. The choice is yours, not ours.

5. Deferral instead of cancellation

One deferral to a later cohort is permitted per learner, requested in writing at least seven days before the start date and subject to seat availability. A deferral preserves the fee you paid; it does not protect you against a fee revision if you defer by more than one intake.

6. How to request a refund

  1. Email studentsupport@iadmit.in from the address registered on your application, with your application reference and the reason for cancellation.
  2. You receive an acknowledgement within two working days and a decision within seven working days.
  3. Approved refunds are processed within twenty-one working days to the original payment instrument. Bank timelines are outside our control.
  4. If a refund is declined, the written decision will state which clause of this policy applies and how to escalate it.

7. What is never refundable

  • GST and any other statutory levy already remitted to the government.
  • Payment gateway and bank charges deducted on the original transaction.
  • Campus immersion travel, accommodation and visa costs booked on your behalf.
  • Fees where enrolment was terminated for misconduct or misrepresentation.

8. Escalation

If you are unhappy with a refund decision, write to the grievance officer at studentsupport@iadmit.in quoting the original decision reference. Escalations are reviewed by someone who was not part of the original decision and are answered within thirty days.
